Torontonian here. Yale, not even close - I'd compare this to a Yale vs. Tepper/McDonough. With the size of Toronto consulting offices and the volume of Canadians at much better schools in the US that are looking to return, Rotman is not as competitive.

I would go with Yale here, great overall brand name that certainly would be held in high esteem in Toronto with nice recruiting in mgmt consulting as well.

I think SOM gives you the most flexibility in terms of recruiting into consulting - geography won't be the constricting factor, which firm you'll get into will be.

SOM is very strong at consulting, with 38% of students headed into the field, with a median salary of 135K USD. Rotman has 27% headed into consulting, with a median salary of 90K.

This probably has a lot to do with the fact that consulting salaries in US are higher than consulting salaries in Canada.
