Hi All,
I have been admitted to both these schools and am having trouble deciding between the two.
My background - I am an Indian with considerable experience in the Finance industry (mostly in India) and my post-MBA goal is to work in IB. I am location agnostic and I am fine with working either in Canada or Europe or Asia.
I understand ranking wise INSEAD is way ahead but my major concern is how good are the placements for finance in INSEAD. I will be joining the January batch with an internship during the summer. I also understand most of the finance recruitment happens in the Sept batch.
Rotman being in Toronto, a hub in the financial sector, is well placed to provide ample opportunities in finance. Also the three work visa to work in Canada is a plus.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

INSEAD has a great reputation globally and especially in Europe. As you referenced it is known as the better program. Unless you have a strong preference for being in Toronto I would go with INSEAD here as I feel the brand carries a bit more and you should be able to secure the placement you desire in many parts of the globe with this MBA

Being a Canadian and looking into applying to B-School myself, take INSEAD over Rotman. I'm personally avoiding the Canadian MBA programs right now and looking to the US and Internationally.
In addition, both schools are known for being General Management Schools, so might as well take the opportunity to study at INSEAD where the brand name itself will help you get interviews.
