Dear reader,
I am interested in knowing the short term and long-term career aspects of the four schools -
Georgetown McDonough, Ivey, UNC Kenan Flagler and UT McCombs. My past experiences have been in a global power equipment manufacturing company working across Budgeting, Macro-Planning and Product Development over a period of 6 years. I am an international applicant at both US and Canada.
Post MBA, I wish to work in Corporate Strategy with a global player/ technology (product based) company/start-up. I am also exploring options in Consulting Sector in the Innovation/Product Development functions.
Please help me with the following queries:
1) For opportunities in my post-MBA interests, what should be the order of schools? I understand all the schools are top-notch and globally reputed. However, I am trying to figure out more considering the location, access to openings and long-term aspects.
2) Does Ivey, being the top school in Canada, have opportunities/openings that are not on offer at US schools in Tech sector? I wish to seek clarity both in short-term and long-term opportunities.
3) Thirdly, I have read at many places that Canadian Schools are excellent for domestic growth. Global opportunities might be tough vis-a-vis US schools. How far is it true?
Please respond with your valuable inputs. Your feedback will be of immense help to me.
Thank you so much!
regards,
Rahul
