Hi All,
How do you choose among these schools?
A little about myself -
Currently working in health consulting in a boutique consulting firm in the US. Looking to move into management consulting (MBB) post MBA (want to end up working in Europe/US, not Asia)
I have limited European language abilities/knowledge (except French that I am planning to improve further on if I do end up picking INSEAD). Kellogg results are not out yet (due 13th Dec), but considering INSEAD wants the deposit by 1st week of January, I want to already start thinking about what i will choose.
Given the current situation in Europe and my 'limited' language abilities, I am very concerned about finding a spot in Europe in a management consulting firm (UK will be even more difficult with INSEAD due to Brexit). What do you think?
Thank you for your help!

Hi, couple of things here. I think MC is the one industry that will allow you to choose freely, mainly because you get to choose your offices, and if you're good enough you'll get them. They usually don't have quota issues, and in an eventual Brexit scenario (of course I'm speculating cause nobody will actually knows what will happen), should you not have a UK residence permit (and after LBS you will have it for only one year, but it will expire), you'd be in equal grounds in the 3 schools.
For the MC European offices, INSEAD places candidates all over Western Europe, and you’ll be very demanded if you want to go to Eastern Europe. I’d say look for job placements and they will speak by themselves.
Think the biggest conundrum you’d be facing will be the US/EU dilemma. If you go to Kellogg and want to work in EU, you’re in the same position in the 3 schools (slight edge over LBS as they do have you covered for a year)
If you go to LBS/INSEAD and want to work in the US, you’ll be constrained, as someone has to sponsor you (still, it is very possible, I went to INSEAD and got a job in VC in the US). So, brushing up:
• If you want to work in the US, go to Kellogg, you’ll be covered for a year
• If you want to work in the UK, go to LBS, you’ll be covered for a year
• If you want to do MC, go to INSEAD, IF YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH you’ll get into any office, and you’ll spend much less money
Of course this is from the job side, on the soft side (bias alert) the one year vertigo and rhythm is quite amazing, I miss it everyday!
