Hello,
I have secured admits in both University of Maryland and University of Georgia.
I have full tuition waiver at Georgia while I have about 70k expenses at Maryland.
Any suggestions what would be a better bet considering I am an international student?

Congratulations. The full-tuition scholarship will be much better!
The two are ranked pretty close on the cusp of Top 50. I have had a discussion with a few Smith students and a Dean of admissions - it is a nice program that's about double the size but I can't see how it is worth that much.
I would pick Terry, as a pretty clear choice. Congrats!

Thank you bb. As mentioned by you, I'm more inclined to take the Georgia admit.
I have also secured admission from a similarly ranked school- Krannert... secured good amount of scholarship too (would cost me 30k USD including living expenses). I've spent time talking to various students and alumni. But I still lack clarity if the location of the school puts it at a disadvantage. Heard mixed reviews about its career center too. On the other hand, I keep hearing great things about UGA being close to Atlanta putting it at an advantage, enabling students to easily network and secure job in the tech industry at Atlanta. So in a bit of a dilemma still!
