I currently work in software development at a small tech company and short-term goal is to work in product management at a mid to large tech firm.
Both offerings are tech focused 1-year MBA programs. Cornell Tech MBA is entering its 5th year, although only 2nd year at new campus on Roosovelt Island (1st 3 months of program are in Ithaca). NYU Stern Tech MBA is new this year.
I'd describe Cornell Tech MBA program as a technology school with an MBA offering. NYU Stern Tech MBA as a tech focused program within a business school.
Stern of course historically has recruited more with finance firms, but tech has been growing and Amazon was the biggest employer out of the most recent full-time class.
Any thoughts on which program to choose?
