Below is my profile
Country of Residence: India
B.Tech Chemical Engineering from a Top 10 Engineering College (Non IIT)
2.5 Years of work ex at Honeywell
1.5 Years of work ex in sales profile in a reputed renewable energy company
Gmat: 760
Age: Will be 26 in June
I have got an admit into UCLA Anderson. I am constantly thinking will dropping an year and trying to get into M7 is worth the risk, or even a wise risk to take or not. Ca anyone offer any help?

M7 is VERY competitive. It takes a really outstanding candidate from India to get into one of these.
Not sure if you applied to any other schools but your other results would give you an indication of your chances.
However, if you got into Anderson this year, you will likely be able to get into another Top20 school next year, so if somehow you feel your career will take a greater trajectory or you will somehow have big accomplishments or better LOR's then by all means. However, if not, then maybe not waste a year.

As of now, I am working as a Sales manager for a leading Solar company in India. In the coming year, I’ll be promoted and will get the opportunity to work on international projects. However, the role will be more or less similar. Hence, this somewhat means that career will take a greater trajectory and I will have bigger accomplishments next year. Recommendations will be more or less same.
Also, I got a reject (no interview) from Wharton, Haas, MIT, Booth and waitlist on NYU. So the results are also not very encouraging.
Hence, I am more inclined towards joining Anderson this year. But if someone aggressively tells me that I have a good chance next year, then I might just take the harder decision.
