Seriously struggling with this decision. I currently work in advertising for a large asset management firm. Looking long term to transition into brand management for a consumer brand. BC awarded a $50,000 scholarship.

Based on your career goals, I would suggest Georgetown. Did you speak to any of the current students and Alums from both schools?

Talk to current students about the career and opportunities for your future goals and get to know about the companies that visit the campus for Brand management at Both schools. I do not know about Brand Management but happy to connect you with folks at Georgetown. PM me if you want to discuss further.

I’d say 51-49 Georgetown.

Brand recognition for Georgetown is higher and if you find out you want to do something different there you have more options. Debt and the higher expense of Georgetown will be hard to stomach if you are risk averse (and particularly in a Covid environment).

Neither are bad options. I think it might come down to fit. I found the BC people to be some of the nicest I have met.

Georgetown will cost probably 200k all inclusive. I wouldn't be surprised if BC costs about 170 and then with his 50k scholarship about 120

So ... 80k before interest differential ... and then after taxes = 125 pre tax?

Is that worth it? I think that's your decision point.

PS - Its easy for anonymous people with different plans and resources to spend your money.
