Hey guys,
I am conflicted between my options but I think I know which way I’m leaning now. Would love to hear your opinions.
About me: i have 15 years experience doing brand partnerships, endorsements and equity deals in the fashion and consumer space for celebrities and models. Looking to make a huge pivot into healthcare management.
Options:
Three scenarios:
1) Johns Hopkins MBA in healthcare technology and innovation
I received a Cedars Sinai transplant administrative fellowship they only gave to one student which is a 3 month preMBA internship - invaluable for my career pivot.
ROMBA fellowship
Nearly full tuition scholarship, I would pay 5.5k a year out of pocket.
2) Yale MPH from the Yale School of Public Health in healthcare management. This degree at Yale is sort of hybrid with over 50% of the required curriculum and electives being taken at Yale SOM with access to SOM recruiting, internships, job boards and networking events.
No scholarship (yet they said they’ll send in a few days if any)
3) Minnesota Medical industry MBA
Full tuition scholarship
ROMBA fellowship
Minnesota has strong relationships with large healthcare, Medtronic, Boston scientific, Mayo Clinic etc but will still be an uphill battle for the pivot.
I had Vanderbilt and Indiana and those didn’t make the short list because of less funding.
