I would appreciate any input on choosing McDonough versus Stern for the full-time MBA programs. Some context:
I am a US citizen based in DC, coming from an international development/government background and am interested in transitioning into consulting with a focus on social impact/emerging markets. I'm torn between NYU, which seems to be the better school in terms of rankings and consulting outcomes, and Georgetown, which seems to have a more intensive focus on sustainability and global business as well as good consulting outcomes. I would also likely aim to be in the DC area long-term, so I'm not sure how much that should weigh into my decision since I know both schools have strong alumni networks there. I unfortunately have not been able to visit either school due to COVID, but I get the sense that both have collaborative, down to earth cultures with a diverse pool of globally-minded students.
I am really lucky to have been awarded full-rides to both schools, so financing is not the issue at the moment. I would welcome any thoughts on how to choose!
