1.UOR Simon, Rochester, NY Full-time MBA
Total cost after scholarship: $80k
2.Notre Dame Mendoza, Full-time MBA(2 yr)
Total cost after scholarship: $90k
3.NUS, Singapore, Full-Time MBA
Cost: similar to Simon but have no scholarship
Current: Industry - FinTech, Function - Strategic Partnerships
Post-MBA: Industry - Tech, Product Management Backup: BD Sales, Product marketing
I am open to both US and Singapore. Higher ranked school in NUS vs Access to a bigger job market in US. From speaking to current student it seems getting a job is tough and requires a lot of effort in Singapore and US, maybe a little more in Singapore.
Q1. Which of these 3 should I pick?
Q2. B/w Simon and ND I would have picked ND any other year because of the larger alumni network but this year the drop in rankings worries me a little. The community at Simon seems welcoming and has me leaning towards Simon, of the two, but I guess that shouldn't be a criteria. Also, Simon has more international students as compared to Mendoza. Would love to get your thoughts on that as well.
Q3. NUS seems to be the only place there is some city vibe and makes face to face networking possible. Has networking changed to Zoom and is that not a big factor to consider for the foreseeable future?
Also have an admit from Schulich but I am not too keen on Canada. Definitely attending one of these programs this year so not open to re-applying.

Congrats on your admits and scholarships!
I don't know that you need to include your GPA and GMAT but sure is helpful if you can update your profile in the decision tracker!
Simon is a Finance school and close-ish proximity to New York and financial firms. That's where everyone went until 2010's. They seem to have improved over the last few years and had a great employment report and sent a number of folks to west coast, surprisingly beating the results of Simon. ND has a strong undergrad name though it does not translate necessarily for the MBA program.
As to rankings, they were muddied up this year and I tried to unmuddy them here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/what-us-news ... 55274.html and as you can see, Mendoza gained 5 spots in the clean version of the US News rankings. It is not that they did anything wrong per se but other people cut some corners.
It is a tricky choice between Mendoza and Simon. Frankly, I am torn. Simon looks better on paper. Mendoza sounds better theoretically... talk to students as much as you can. See what they would recommend to you. It won't be easy to come by jobs with either program. You will have to work on yourself, interview skills, delivery, and pursuing every opportunity like it is the one - no other way.

Thanks a lot bb for the insights. I would be really grateful if you could give your opinion on NUS in comparison with these two. Much more reputed school in a smaller job market(Singapore) VS top 30ish school in a bigger job market(US). I'm open to both locations.
