Hello Gmatwhutwhut,

Congratulations on the admits! :)

No right or wrong decision here; if UK is where you see yourself settling down, Cambridge makes sense; if that is not a consideration, INSEAD would be a good call owing to the fact that it is a consulting stronghold.

Good luck!

Hi all,

After the long slog of the GMAT, applications, and interviews, i've finally received two offers from INSEAD and Cambridge.

I'm ~30s, international student, with work experience in a logistics company hoping to pivot into consulting.

Goals are to get a job with some function of strategy that pays well.

Any insight on Insead vs Cambridge? Would be much appreciated!

Hey! Hopefully you got the good news from LBS but that’s more of a two year program lot more expensive....

Hey all!

Thanks for the well wishes and thankfully i did get an offer from LBS!

The schools i do have on offer is Insead, Cambridge, LBS, Cornell, Waitlist at Anderson but i do think LBS would be the right choice. As much as the cost pains me do feel like the ROI would be worth it, especially since i'm doing a career pivot from a family business, plus LBS itself and it's location would provide a wealth of opportunities.

I do still have a couple of days to make a decision, would love y'alls input duringt his decisive time.

Congrats on great offers! I just wanted to chime in because I was also deciding between Insead / Cambridge / LBS and decided with Insead. Based on extensive research and conversations, Insead is the strongest MBA brand of the 3 and I factored in long term ROI based on brand premium. If you look at power of alumni / historical rankings / general prestige - I do think Insead is the only Euro school that can compete with the top US schools.

However, it does comes down to short term vs. long term goals - if you need right to work in the UK, I can see why LBS makes sense (I did my undergrad in UK and benefited from visa then). If you want to work in high finance, LBS is also very good - especially London banking.
