Hii,

I took the GMAT Focus Edition exam a few weeks back.
My Score is
Total -  685 (97% Percentile)
Quantitative Reasoning - 88 (95% Percentile)
Verbal Reasoning - 84 (91% Percentile)
Data Insights - 80 (86% Percentile)

Is it enough for the Round 1 Application at ISB?
Hey! That's a pretty good score for ISB. You can now (peacefully) focus on other parts of your application. Start thinking about the stories you will be including in different essays along with why you want to pursue an MBA and why ISB.

We have 40+ mentors from ISB on our platform IvyCrackers and few of them are on ISB admissions interview panel. You can book a complimentary 30-mins call with us and one of the interview panelists will evaluate your profile in detail. In this call, we will delve deep into your profile, help you build an overall strategy for your ISB application, and answer any questions you have about ISB.

hey Nikhil, could you please share the rest of your profile for a holistic evaluation.
Many hight scorers don't make it vs folks with 670 also get in.

It's a good score for sure but it's always considered in context of the overall profile and eventually, how you package everything.

NikhilK77 I agree with Manan on this point. You have only painted half the picture here. I do profile assessments every day of the week and would love to help you put different parts of your story in perspective to make them attractive to adcoms. Also, after the first admissions cycle, I think we still have a lot to learn about the "perceived" value of GMAT FE scores at top B schools.

Best wishes

Hey NikhilK77

I am Priyanka, Client Manager at ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, 685 is impressive. Three years at Deloitte is no joke, and coming out of NITK Surathkal is a feather in your cap for sure. The academic scores are good too, but a killer application essay and some glowing recommendations can definitely add out.

Overall, you've got a very strong profile for ISB Round 1. But listen, to give you the best shot and really help you craft a knockout application, we'd love to see your CV. There might be some hidden achievements or experiences that could make your application stand out even more.

Good Luck!

@NikhilK77

From a score POV, you are good to go in terms of submitting the application for ISB.

However, your success would be greatly determined by other factors beyond the score including and not limited to the nature and tenure of your work experience, leadership track record, narratives your portray in your essays, logical reasoning behind why you want to invest in ISB's MBA, aveneues via which you believe you will be able to add value to the ISB cohort, and your recommendation essays.

In short you have crossed the quantitative hurdle of the application and should now focus on the qualitiative / intangible parts.

Cheers and all the best !

Feel free to reach out if you seek professional guidance.

Hello NikhilK77,

Thanks for writing in.

Yes; this is a good score to proceed with. :-)

You must now focus on putting forth a well-rounded application; a set of compelling essays together with your current GMAT score will give you a very good chance at ISB!

Good luck!
