I noticed in the essay prompt explanation seems to emphasize achievements outside of work.
However, since the prompt itself says we may not follow all the explanation below, could I use stories from my work as examples and can they all be from my work experience?

However, keep in mind that MBA essays require a balanced portrayal of both analytical thinking and a deeper sense of purpose beyond mere numbers. Failing to convey this balance can make your application appear as a laundry list of professional anecdotes, lacking the depth of empathy and meaning that admissions committees seek.

If the question does not overtly mention that you need to emphasize achievements outside work, you may talk about achievements from your workplace.
Having said the above, the Ad Com wants to see a holistic candidature; so, please ensure that in your application, as a whole, you are covering all the important aspects of your candidature in a balanced manner.
