Why aren’t there more people on this thread? Is Carroll not a good enough school?

Basically the school is good only for finance. If you have background in finance carroll is one of the best.. for anything else, not worthy at all.

I want to get into consulting i do have a background in finance

That's great. but what kind of consulting do you want to get into. If it is financial consulting, then yes, BC is a good choice. But if it is Management consulting or something else then it may be difficult from BC. BC is very particular that internationals must look for employment not only in USA but everywhere. Also, forget top 10-15 consulting companies. BC has a very strong relation with recruiters for their undergrad and so the professors are well connected and could get you a job. mind you a job. What I realized from speaking with students and alum is that most of the students are those who want to settle in or around Boston. Others basically have background in finance already and will get a STEM degree so can get into 'a job' post MBA. Many companies do come to campus for recruitment, not for graduate students or MBAs but for undergrads. So there you go that's all my assessment and my opinion. Even a basic search on LinkedIn with school name and MBA shows the same. Hope that helps.
