Any comments, feelings, advice to share?: Had a great interviewer so I guess I got lucky. He made me feel very comfortable so I could be myself.
Also at work I was offered a lateral switch to a different department within two years due to my performance which rarely happens at my organization. My recommenders both mentioned that in their recommendation letter.
My project in the village was featured in news articles and on National Television which I shared links to the committee.
I believe all of this may have enabled me to be admitted with a scholarship despite my GRE not being stellar.
They take a very holistic approach and genuinely look at everything.
