Got a reply, they say that it takes 4-6 weeks to take a decision after successfully submitting the application.

Hi, applied as a Quebec resident on the 31st of October.
Got my interview on the 14th of November.
Now waiting for the final decision. I was told by Antoinette Molino, Manager, MBA Admissions & Scholarships that the committee meets today on the 30th of November.
I then expect to have my response later today or tomorrow.

I hope this helps others get an idea of general delays.
GMAT 640 Q33 V44
Mechanical engineering
3 years of work experience.

Having no answer, I wrote an email to them on the 5th of December, I rapidly got an informal answer saying I was "in" and that there where some delays because of possible grants.
Got my official acceptance letter on the 10th of December.
I don't think it's badly seen to ask for an update, don't hesitate if you are worried!
Good luck to all of you and hopefully see you next year.

Hello Everyone,

I received an offer of admit from Desautels, McGill. I also have an offer from Melbourne business school.

Could anyone advise me as to which school might be better for pursuing MBA in the long term?

Although I have done my own extensive research on both schools but would appreciate inputs from your side as well. Please advise!

I want to apply for R2 in Desautels, McGill. I am quite skeptical about the french language being the barrier to get an admit there. I wanted to know those who have already got the offer have expertise in french language or it's not that mandatory and won't be a major factor in shortlisting the applications?

Based on my experience, it’s definitely not a factor. I don’t think it was ever brought up in the entire process so you’re good to go. Good luck!
