Ren242 I have received an offer for McGill's MBA program as well, and planning to accept it. Is there a link to the FB group to get added? I wasn't able to find it.

I got the offer on 16 Dec, and the school and Antoinette is on holiday till Jan 2/Jan 9 respectively. It's been so difficult to get questions clarified, so looking forward to get some inputs from this thread :)

Questions to applicants-
1. Do you know if we can send the official transcripts by mail, or does it HAVE to be sent from the university itself?
2. Is there a deadline for the transcripts?

Hello there, I'm blocked from posting a link on GmatClub because I don't have enough posts (minimum 5). I asked Nitin to help me out so it is all the same group we are talking of.

As for your questions sgp2022:
1. The universities must send them themselves. I assume it's to prevent fraud/forgery. I've found it easier than I thought, both schools I went to already had system in place to do this.
2. I couldn't find anything on this either but if you have paid the deposit and the delays are out of your control I'm certain McGill will be flexible on the matter. Especially if you write to them in advance.

I had submitted mine on Nov 1 and they took almost 1 month to give me the interview invite. The school was out for winter break and has just resumed this week, so I would think they will resume the review process again. I speak for myself, but I have heard the adcom takes around 3-4 working weeks to send out interview invites.

It would be best to wait for any intimation from the adcom side. Meanwhile, verify that you have submitted all the documents necessary for the review.

I know the wait is long and frustrating :( but that's normal. Good luck! :D

The referees are given 14 day window to submit references (the sooner the better) . However, if you have submitted your application before the deadline ends, it is still a part of the same round (with additional window for references)

They don’t expect any specific format.

I submitted the additional points in the form of bullets. I am assuming this increases readability (as compared to essay format)

My recommender called me saying that in the link provided in mail, there is a section in the form needing her to submit document with letterhead.

My recommenders received a mail and a link, which directed them to a form with a set of questions about the candidate. There was no letterhead required.

Not necessary to do all that. They can edit the form directly through Adobe and upload it. Save the printing effort.
