- The Short vs. Long-Term Balance (Essay 1): Structuring your 2,500-character career impact essay. The AdCom wants zero fluff—you need to surgically drop your immediate target post-graduation roles, pinpoint specific target companies/sectors, and clearly bridge how Imperial's network solves your professional deficiencies.
- The "Contribution" Matrix (Essay 2): Crafting your 3,500-character pitch on why you belong at Imperial. The secret here is showing, not telling; candidates are aligning their backgrounds with specific Imperial assets like the Imperial Enterprise Lab or regional student-led business clubs.
- The Values Demonstration (Essay 3): Navigating the 3,500-character values prompt. You must map a personal or professional story directly to one or more of Imperial’s core pillars: Respect, Collaboration, Integrity, Innovation, or Excellence.
- The Strict Test Thresholds: Confirming GMAT/GRE targets. For the GMAT Focus Edition, the firm floor sits at 555, while GRE applicants are aiming for minimums of 156 Verbal / 158 Quantitative to remain competitive.
