School X and School Y sent students in groups of 10 for an event. If the 2 schools used mini buses that have a seating capacity of 19 students per bus, then School Y will need 7 more vans than School X. If the 2 schools used mini buses that have a seating capacity of 14, they will need 72 mini buses. If the 2 schools do not share a mini-bus, and each mini bus is packed to the maximum capacity of 19 for School Y, how many more students are there in School Y than in School X?
I do not have the OA and would like to find suitable solutions from the Forum on this problem. In my opinion, this is a potential 700-level question.
Bunuel and experts, I would like to seek your help on this question as I came across this from a non-GMAT book source, but contained very similar concepts in remainders and general word problems that are akin to that of GMAT.
