What is the range of X ?

when \( x( x^2-4 ) >0 \)

Please post the question with source and options. Any general query should make a part of quantitative main forum/discussion.

Now \( x( x^2-4 ) >0....... \)
when x>0, \(x^2>4\) or |x|>2, that is x>2
when x<0, \(x^2<4\) or |x|<2, that is 0<x<2

Range => \(-2<x<0\) or \(x>2\)
