If a and b are positive integers, then what is the value of \(a^b\)?
(1) \(b^a = 27\)
27=27^1....a^b=1^27=1
27=3^3......a^b=3^3=27
Insufficient
(2) \(a^{2b} = 729\)
729=3^6=3^{2*3}....a^b=3^3=27
729=27^2=27^{2*1}.....a^b=27^1=27
No other way that power is EVEN

: b = 3 or 27, a = 3 or 1 ....so a^b is coming 27 or 1 --- NS
(2) a2b=729
: a = 3 or 27 , b = 3 or 1 ...so a^b is coming 27 only .. Sufficient
