If \(x = 3y\), is \(x^2 > y^2\)?
\(x^2 > y^2\) means \((3y)^2>y^2....8y^2>0....y\neq{0}\)
So, we have to find whether y=0.
(1) \(y+x < yx\)
If y=0, \(y+x < yx\) becomes \(0+0<0*0....0<0\)..NOT possible.
Hence \(y\neq{0}\)
(2) \(x^2 = 9y^2\)
x=3y means the same. No new information.
