A palindrome is a number that reads the same forward and backward. For example. 2442 and 111 are palindromes.If a number is selected at random from 1 to 1000.What is the probability that the number is a palindrome number?

Sorry I dont have options for this

- Two-digit palindrome : 9X1 = 9. First 9 calculates possibilities of 9 possible number from 1-9.
- Three-digit palindrome : 9*10*1 = 90. First 9 calculates possibilities of 9 possible number from 1-9, second 10 calculates all of the second digit possibilities. We can use 10 numbers from 0 to 9.
- Total probability : \(\frac{(9+90)}{1 to 1000 inclusive} = \frac{99}{1000}\).

What is the answer?

It is mentioned as from 1 to 1000, but not sure if it is inclusive

If inclusive, answer will be = 108/1000

if not inclusive, answer will be = 107/998
