If DE || FG, then y = 120.
—> z + 120 = 180
z= 60
—> \(\frac{x}{3}= 60\) —> x= 180
x+ y = 180 + 120= 300
The answer is D

From the given figure, y = 120
Also, z = 180-120 = 60
Because, DG = EF
therefore either x/3 = 60
i.e. x = 180
and now y = 120
therefore x+y = 180+120 = 300
Answer: Option D

P.S. The given figure can NOT exist as per given input as the forth angle should be zero for other angles to have valid calculated values as per question. I believe that the question is WRONG
