Hi All,

A lot of passages under the RC section are posted from GMAT Prep and the GMAT Prep exam packs. Are there any available resources that one can direct me to in order to practice RC since I have not taken the GMAT prep exam and do not want to hamper my score there.

Also, can we practice LSAT passages for GMAT since they seem to be almost similar in terms of the questions and verbiage? It would be great if any expert can help me out here.

Hi All,

A lot of passages under the RC section are posted from GMAT Prep and the GMAT Prep exam packs. Are there any available resources that one can direct me to in order to practice RC since I have not taken the GMAT prep exam and do not want to hamper my score there.

Also, can we practice LSAT passages for GMAT since they seem to be almost similar in terms of the questions and verbiage? It would be great if any expert can help me out here.

You can practice RC from the following Resources:
1. Official Guide Verbal Review
2. Official Guide
3. Carcass Collection of RC's: https://goo.gl/igFUWY
4. 700-800 Level RC's(which is basically a collection of Manhattan 700+ RC's): https://goo.gl/sajbyi & Sol'n :https://goo.gl/P8pTMR

I think these resources should be more than sufficient for you to practice RC.

For RC - the best way to improve is to practice.

I highly recommend Harvard Magazine articles? Why? Because they have a lot of short articles - that are very similar to what you might see on the GMAT exam -- usually 4-6 paragraphs citing some kind of social or science research.

Favorite this:

Look for where it says: "Select a topic:" - Humanities, Social Science, Science, International

Go to the above link and read some of the articles.You'll see these are almost the exact topics you will see on the actual GMAT exam.

Are you able to quickly read through it - ideally without reading every word - and identify WHO is writing it and WHY they are writing it - WHAT's the whole point to the author spending time to write these passages?

These are great for RC comprehension - with practice, time management becomes a non-issue.
