A. least supports the author's argument about commerce because if the supporters of jackson did resist the commercialization then it would go against the author's idea that it was in jackson's presidency when commercialization and individualism became more accepted.

I picked C. because it seems completely out of scope. OA is A though. Maybe because C doesn't matter one way or the other but A would actually contradict the author?
