'a'- the underlined portion does not start with 'that' to parallel agreed that...... but that....... also whether is better than 'was or was not'
'b'- same as 'a' does not use 'that' and 'whether or not' is wrong..
'c'- correct
'd'-determine that is not correct and 'was' is wrong tense..
'e'- it is wordy
