I just graduated from business school last month and have started looking for full-time employment. I did not secure a job before graduation because I worked full-time all during my second year. I have a month off before returning to work so I want to use it to find something.
Quick facts:
Business school: top 25
B-school GPA: 3.60; GMAT: 690
Summer internship: Bank of America, Human Resources Development Program
Undergrad: Texas A&M University
Undergrad GPA: 3.61
I choose not to accept offer from BofA because at the time I wanted to remain in TX. That is still my preference though I am open to consulting opportunities even if those involve going elsewhere. My school has very few alumni in HR so I appreciate any ideas on where to seek HR consulting roles (either with a consulting firm or internal consulting).

If you want to stay in Texas, look into the major firms in your area and in your specific industry (eg, o&g, retail, tech). And if you want to go in consulting, all the major firms have offices in Texas -- for HR, consider the human capital consulting route at Deloitte for one option.

My recommendations would be Hewitt and Towers Perrin. I'm a little surprised you passed up the B of A offer, most people love Charlotte. But if it's something about banking I get it. I worked for B of A and then Wells Fargo, and banking is just well let's say I just have too much personality for that particular industry
