I want to understand if MBA-i program offered by Kelloggs is better than the 2 year MBA for someone who plans to work in product management in ad-tech post MBA.
I am an india with 5+ years of experience in ad tech consulting and account management. The only caveat is that I have a humanities background in academics. My work experience is on the lines of consulting brands about the various data and AI led solutions available in the market and combining them to build smart solutions for clients which can drive ROAS (return on advertising spend) for them.
Below is the eligibility criteria the school's website states-
1. 4-6 years of work experience. 2. Technical work experience as a product owner, project manager, data scientist, software engineer, R&D associate, etc. 3. Undergraduate STEM degree or major.
While I fall in the sweet spot of point 1 and point 3 does not apply to me. I need to understand point 2 and if my work experience align with the eligibility requirements MBA-i has. Does it make sense for me to apply to this course.
Thank you

Hi, I don't think anyone can answer that question, since the program is new and there isn't a cohort out with job offers. What I can help you with is that I applied and got in, and I only had 2 of the three requirements (I will have only 3 years of work experience in consulting by the time I enrol). That might mean that you don't need to have all three of the requirements, but a combination of the three.
Quick question - were you into management consulting and did your job require a lot of quant/stats heavy stuff?

Yes, I work in MBB, and most of my work is heavy in analytics (using Excel and Alteryx), but no real "Data Science" (machine learning and the sort). So being a data scientist is not a requirement

Ah I am waitlisted at Kellogg, but accepted to LBS. Work experience 3 years as well. Seems like admissions is really unpredictable
