A. Product X will have no positive effects if used for less than 6 months.
Not supported: Product X Spokesperson claims that Product X requires 6 months for full effect. He does not convey that the product will have no positive effect in less than 6 months.
B. One cannot expect full performance from Product X if one uses other shampoos in addition to Product X.
Supported by Product X Spokesperson: Product X Spokesperson recommends using only Product X - daily for 6 months for full effect. If one uses an additional shampoo, they may not experience the full effect of Product X.
C. Residue build up is caused in part by using the same shampoo for long periods.
Supported by Grooming Advice Website: Grooming Advice Website states that if you use the same brand of shampoo for too long, residues will build up.
D. Product X has a different chemical composition from other shampoos.
Not supported: Neither of the two statements compare the composition of Product X and other shampoos.

A question about how to interpret the question esp. the phrase "Choose the statement that is most strongly supported by the Grooming Advice Website's statements and the statement that is most strongly supported by the Product X Spokesperson's statements."
Is this supposed to be solved like a Inference question or a strengthen question?
I thought this to be a strengthen question and hence eliminated "C" because it basically repeats what the Grooming advice websites
