1)A, since we can see that there was a small decline in the graph which started in 1922 so food shortage started before that year.

2)C,Since the lowest carbohydrate consumption was roughly in year 1965/1966 and value was ~390

Dietary fiber intake of that year was 20
So ratio is 390/20=19,so nearest to 19 is 18

1.A decline in consumption in all 4 categories strongly suggests an overall food shortage rather than a simple change in dietary pattern.


see the sudden fall in value of graph among 1922, 1961 and 2000
it is shown near to 1922 and 2000
question asked is before which year = 1922

2. carbho was lowest in 1961 = 380
dietary fiber in the same year= ~15
380/18= 21.xx
closest answer = 18
