A recent study investigated the effect that scaling the play area (e.g., field or court size) of popular sports can have on children’s motor skills acquisition. For each of 3 sports, the graph shows the recommended scaling of the linear dimensions of the play area based on the age of the children who are playing the sport. For [Dropdown Placeholder #1] year-old children, the full-size play area is recommended for all sports except for Sport [Dropdown Placeholder #2].
We are looking at full-size play area, which would mean 100% of full size. This further means you are looking at the top most line of teh graph.
The recommendation for full size play area starts from 10 years and remains till the end of the graph.
Next, the word except implies that we are looking at the graph where two sports are at 100% but one is still below it. This further reduces the upper end of the range as sport B line touches 100% at 16 years.
Thus anything from 10 to 15, both inclusive, would fit in blank 1, and as seen above, sport B would fit in in blank 2.

Here is my explaantion ,
Scaling means they will allow children to play in reduced size of full size e.g 10% or 20% size of the full size.
Only 16+ chilndren can play in 100% size i.e full size for all the three sports.
Lets start with options .
For 8 year old child full size is not recommended for any of the sports.
They will always play in reduced sizes i.e in 30% size in sports B , in 40% size in sport C etc.
Hence rejected.
For 17 year old children , they will use full size ground for all the three sports. Notice the vertical line touches 100% for all sports.
Only for 10 year old children , it's 100% for A and C . it means 10 year old children will play in 100% or full size grounds for sport A and C . But they will play in reduced or scaled ground of 50% for sport B.
Hence the answer is --
