SH is a startup charity in Australia which uses a crowdsourcing interface to help donors provide assistance directly to individuals in need of financial backing in order to cope with any of a variety of problems.
Each person applying for help can put a listing on the website for free, describing the nature of his/her problem, the financial circumstances, and so forth. There is an application process in which the SH employees confirm the truth of the claim. Once the listing is publicly available, donors can then browse the listings and donate to any of the applicants in increments of $10. Donors also have the option to sponsor a listing, wherein they are listed as sponsors in return for a promise to match donations, gaining positive advertising.
SH also partners with service providers, such as doctors, lenders, and so forth. Together, they work to ensure that people can afford the services they need without hardship.
SH earns its money through a 5% commission on each transaction, including donations made to the "charity giveaway" in which each $10 donation to "the pot" lets someone vote for a charity registered with the site. Once the pot reaches $1,000, the charity with the most votes gets the entire amount.
In contrast to other charitable crowdsourcing platforms, SH has placed itself in a unique competitive position by not just raising money but also acting as an advocate on behalf of those who need assistance. Each claim is confirmed for validity, something only two other organizations offer, to ensure that the donors' money is being used legitimately. Furthermore, SH also negotiates with providers to bring the cost down of whatever is burdening the applicant. Providers tend to agree, as the alternative is often that they should receive nothing. SH also keeps the fees lower than the market average.
To attract donors giving donations of different sizes, advertising and sponsorship opportunities exist, and reward points are also offered for all donations. Both institutional charities and individuals in need may apply to be listed, in the respective parts of the website. Charities are chosen by draws and receive pooled funds, while individuals collect whatever they attract in donations.
Worldwide, India has the highest volume of donors, with roughly 165 million people making donations in the most recent year. Also having huge volumes of donors are the United States (143 million), Indonesia (126 million), and China (109 million).
Women are only slightly more likely to make donations than men, but age plays a more significant role. Roughly one-third of those included in the global donor pool are aged 50+. Only about one-fourth of those in the pool are aged 15-34. It is a reasonable expectation, since younger people are less likely to have the funds available to make donations, but for a crowdsourcing startup, it complicates things. Those aged 15-34 also compose the bulk of internet users, while the older generations - those most likely to make donations - are relatively far less likely to make financial transactions online.
A reliable survey suggests that altogether, there are roughly 450 million potential donors worldwide who are willing to use the internet as a charitable medium.

How is the answer of 3 is 112.5 million? It is given that potential donor are 450 million then 50% are between 15-34 means 225million user * $10 (min deno) which according to me is 2250 million or 2.25 billion

So 2.25 billion is the money raised from the donations, but SH earns only 5% of that (mentioned in tab 1, saying that it earns money by charging 5% commission on each transaction). And since the question asks for SH revenue, 5% of 2.25 billion is 112.5 million.

For the second point the first para of the first tab suggest otherwise " SH is a startup charity in Australia which uses a crowdsourcing interface to help donors provide assistance directly to individuals in need of financial backing in order to cope with any of a variety of problems." doesn't it suggest that someone facing eviction might get the charity listing.
