Is P prime?
(1) P is divisible by 2. If p = 2, then the answer is YES but if p = 4, then the answer is NO. Not sufficient.
(2) P is divisible by 4. No prime is a multiple of 4. Hence p is not a prime. Sufficient.
Answer: B.

Solution
In question stem, we are not given any information.
Statement 1:
- • If \(p = 2\), then \(p\) is a prime.
• If \(p = 8\), then \(p\) is not prime.
Hence, statement 1 is not sufficient, we can eliminate answer options B, C, and E.
Statement 2:
- o It means \(p\) is an even number greater than \(2\).
o We know that \(2\) is the only even number which is prime.
- Thus, \(p\) is not a prime number, if it is greater than 2 and divisible by 4
