Given ARea of ABCD = Area of two squares
i.e. Length of ABCD = 2a if Width of rectangle = a = Side of square
Question: Area of rectangle ABCD = 2a*a = ?
Statement 1: The side of one of the squares that can be formed is 10.
i.e. a = 10 hence
SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: The sum of the perimeters of the two squares that can be formed by dividing rectangle ABCD is 80
i.e. 2*4a = 80 i.e. a = 10
SUFFICIENT
Answer: Option D
