An obtuse triangle is a triangle with one angle greater than 90º. What is the measure of side ZX of obtuse triangle XYZ, if angle Z is obtuse?
(1) Angle X is at point (1 , 5) and angle Y is at (3 , 2)
(2) The area of triangle XYZ is 2.5

Question : What is the measure of side ZX of obtuse triangle XYZ, if angle Z is obtuse?
Statement 1: Angle X is at point (1 , 5) and angle Y is at (3 , 2)
With two vertex of triangle, the triangle can not be ascertained hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: The area of triangle XYZ is 2.5
Infinite many triangle may have the same area hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
Combining the two statements
Even after combining the two statements
we have one side length of side XY and area of triangle which gives us the height but for same height many triangles can be formed as per given condition hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
answer: option E
