Tub A and Tub B contain milk and Tub B was half full. If all of the milk in Tub A was poured into Tub B, then what fraction of the capacity of B was filled with milk?
(1) Tub A was one-third full, when the milk from it was poured into Tub B.
(2) Tub A and Tub B have the same capacity.

Question: what fraction of the capacity of B was filled with milk?
To answer this question we need to know
1) the capacity of tub A is what fraction of the capacity of Tub B
2) What fraction of Tub a was filled
Statement 1: Tub A was one-third full, when the milk from it was poured into Tub B
This statements doesn't mention the relation between capacities of Tub A and B hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: Tub A and Tub B have the same capacity
This statement doesn't give us the information about what fraction of A was filled when it was poured into B
NOT SUFFICIENT
Combining the two statements
Combining the informations gives us both the required information hence
SUFFICIENT
Answer: Option C
