Dear all
Thank you for having such a great website. I have asked for a GMAT self study course, but I should have emphasized that my problem would be the verbal more than the Maths since I am a non native speaker but I did study engineering and an MBA in English, still want to do a PHD in one of the TOP ten university that would require more than 700.
It seemed to me that different courses offer different capabilities, verbal, maths, tests...
But I really want a single course that is self study that does it all for me, and allow me to achieve 700+
I have thought of GMAX, because thay have offline teachings and it seemed well structured and is not expensive, and I thought of Manhattan GMAT. But still no decision...
Please guide me..

I thought the 8-part Manhattan GMAT strategy guide was pretty thorough, but then again verbal was my strong suit going into my GMAT prep. The Manhattan will give you access to a lot of online material in addition to the books--full-length adaptive tests, question banks, etc.
The other thing I'd recommend for a non-native English speaker is just to do as much English reading as possible--make it stuff that interests you so you're not bored too much. Magazines, newspapers, books, whatever...it'll help you get a sense for what "sounds" right/wrong which is a big help on sentence corrections in particular.
