Gmat score 500 - I improved a lot in Quant, but doomed in Verbal

Dear Friends,

To be frank I had given Gmat in Sept 2014 and scored 400. I cancelled the score for obvious reasons. My score was Q34 and V15(Dont really remember Verbal but it was close to 15). 
In quant, after some 24 questions I started guessing.
In Verbal after 20 questions I started guesing.

After this horrible performance I then studied through 1000 questions challenge from Gmat hacks guy. They were awsome. I also referred to Kaplan 800 for math and verbal, but majorly I used OGs for Verbal.

Today I gave Gmat again...

Score was 500, Q45, V15.

For quant I started guessing after 27th question. 
Some surprising things in quant I observed...
1) I was usually getting easy questions
2) Even when I score Q45, the percentile showed 63.
3) I hardly got any probability and Permutation/combination question.

Thus I thought I have not scorred well on first 10 questions and thats why I am getting easy questions. Even thefirst 10 were not difficult. But still I got Q45.

For verbal I repeated the same thing like previous exam and thus scored the same.
Some observations on Verbal are..

1) I majorly got many many SC questions, much more than other 2 categories.
 
The only difference this time, apart from good quant study was, I knew the importance of first 10 questions. In verbal I was determined to score good in first 10, but it seems all went wrong here.

I really need HELP here!!!

Its not that I havent studied for verbal. I also reffered to MGMAT SC and OG11, 12 and 13. I mostly studied OGs for verbal as I was not sure about other sources. GMAC has the ultimate authority as to why certain question is correct. So I cannot trust other sources.

I found following main problem in verbal...
1) I take long time ...4 mins per question in verbal
2) SC is very weak
3) RC is quite ok
4) CR is also quite ok

As you know its not possible to master grammer, it will be beyond my limits.

For verbal, e-gmat SC has really good concepts. You may want to consider going for e-gmat course.

Here is a bit of Advice for Verbal:

1. Start with Manhattan SC. Complete its theory and then go for the questions.
2. Check out gmat club free resources for more practice.

As far as score of 15 in verbal is concerned, I do not think that is absolutely because of the wrong questions in SC. Hence, my advise is to give eual importance to other sections as well. Perhaps, for CR, you can start with CR bible and for RC, Just read a lot.

Final step>>>> Practice, Practice and more practice....
