Preparation Material: GMAT OG+additional 400 questions+6 GMAT prep tests
I wanted to try out the GMAT before starting to prepare and was expecting a 680 with Q49V36 depending on my performances on GMAT prep tests BUT GOT A 700 WITH Q48V38.If you still remember your high school maths, jump right in and start solving. I have 8 years work ex in IT, hence was kinda out of touch. I started solving Maths right away and started checking incorrect ones and the ones I took long to solve. I had no time to go for tricks so stayed with the basics and tried to do those faster. I was hitting the hard questions around 16-17 mark, hence kept 25 minutes for the first 15 and 37 minutes of the next 16.
For verbal, I checked out some of the available videos on youtube and a course by Brett Ethridge ($20 in udemy). TimeManagement: 30 minutes for first 18,35 minutes for next 18.
700 by no means is a top score, but I will take it anyday with a 3 weeks preparation juggling in between full time job, cooking and other daily chores for a bachelor living in Chicago.
