The sole reason for my GMAT score improvement (from 710 to 740) is e-GMAT Verbal Course and its accompanied strategic guidance

In my previous attempt, I had gone through Manhattan Booklets for verbal. I thought that's all there is and went straight to attempting questions. And while attempting, I relied mainly on elimination approach based on just one parameter...due to this faulty approach I suffered in my GMAT exam and below average accuracy in SC section

This time the most important part from my side was to listen to my friend's advice and so I purchased e-gmat verbal course..From the very first day, I was nudged in setting up a strategic preparation plan- this would be beacon for me for next 16-18 days..Initially it all seemed too obvious and generic..but within a week I realised importance of each stage- course curriculum; cementing quiz; ability quiz & sigma mocks. The course content helps one understand each concept through elaborate examples...the content is so specific and granular, that one can predict in official GMAT exam what the question type is in sc section..also since stress is laid upon why other choices are wrong, once a candidate has gone through 50- 60 such questions, this becomes a habit while attempting any question and this ultimately helps improve accuracy in verbal section..
Besides the awesome content, the programme provided me a super awesome mentor- Navajyoti..I had shared my ESR with him initially...within couple of hours he reached back to me with his analysis - this reflects his pro level in gmat game and how proactive he is..Moreover, throughout my prep, he was in touch with me to know how my preparation level was going..how I am performing in my cementing quizzes, custom quizzes..What can I do to improve my timing ...Since I hadn't told anyone(not even my parents that I am taking GMAT), in a way he became my companion in this journey..and when I finally got my score, I first informed him and thanked him for his guidance...It is such act of support and genuiness that motivates one in his/her journey..
I owe a big one to egmat and navajyoti in particular..My two cents: follow e-GMAT like a true patriot..they know this game more than anyone I know..Follow each and every step they suggest diligently..While you may be busy in gaining concepts & solving questions, they see the bigger picture as to how one is likely to perform and what can be done to improve one's performance- through designing different stages and different strategies based on one's capabilities..

Congratulations Varun. I wish you best of luck for the future. E-gmat is no doubt a very good course. However, I think that a person can clear gmat even without any course, if he or she puts some efforts on his/her weaknesses.

Again good luck.
