I've been pretty regular with practicing few questions from each verbal section everyday
Today my main issue was with pacing I think. I ended up taking 65-70% of time today in first 50% of questions. That left very little time in the end.
Planning to take another exam with a week. I don't think I can do any more with prep at this time except pacing.
Thoughts?

Hi heyrohit,
I'm sorry to hear that this attempt did not turn out better. Your prior 690/Q50 is still a fantastic Score though, so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, another retest might not be necessary. Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

Since you've been scoring in the high-600s on your Official Exams going back over the past 2+ years, you clearly handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but 'your way' of approaching the Exam also leaves you open to making certain types of mistakes. As such, retaking the GMAT in a week is likely not a good idea - and based on your historical performances, you would likely score in the high-600s again. If your goal is to score significantly higher than 690, then we have to take a more detailed look at your past studies.
Before I can offer you any additional advice, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on your timeline and your goals:
1) Were all 4 of your attempts taken at Testing Centers?
2) What is your overall goal score?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
If you took this most recent Official GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). We could also compare this recent performance to your earlier performance in 2019 (to see if you're currently responding to the Verbal section in the same general ways that you were 2 years ago). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.
