hey heyrohit,

I can see from your ESR that your major issue is Reading comprehension, while SC also looks a little concerning. Having said that you seem to be a very hard-working person - that's truly amazing.

The following is the debrief of one of my students who was struggling with verbal, but recently scored a V44, please check it out. Vibhav's GMAT 740 Debreif

Also, the following are the GMAT Club webinars on RC and SC I did a few weeks ago: please check if they could be of any help.

Thank you.

I took exam yesterday and didn't improve.

Quote:

Aug 19 2021 - 680 (v34, q49, IR 8)
Aug 3 2021 - 670 (v34, q48, IR 4) - cancelled
May 18 2021 - 690 (v33, q50, IR 5)
Aug. 2019 - 650 (v28, q50, IR 5)
May, 2019 - 650 (v28, q50, IR 5) - cancelled

Between Aug 3 and Aug 19, I focused on verbal only. I finished all Sentence Correction from TTP, which I really liked btw and was hoping to improve in verbal this time but didn't.

Now looking back, I feel I got a bit overconfident with my quant. I had scored 50 multiple times in the past so thought I will be able to do the same this time.

Hi heyrohit,

Taking some 'time off' from your studies (either temporarily or permanently) is probably a good idea at this point - since your Official results from your last 3 attempts show that you're "locked in" to a particular way of thinking about the Verbal section (and we would have to work to make some fundamental changes to those processes to get you to the point that you could consistently score 730+ on the Official Exam).

I want to reiterate that it would be a good idea to assess your overall profile and plans with an Admissions Expert. Many of those professionals would probably tell you that "the higher your GMAT Score, the better" - but there's a BIG difference between saying "it would be better to have a 730" and "there's no way a 690 will be enough." If the assessment is that you MUST earn a higher GMAT Score, then we can put together a plan for how best to proceed with your studies.

In the meantime, I'll be happy to analyze your ESRs, but I would need to see each of the FULL ESRs (and not just the pieces that you uploaded).
