Hi everyone,
I want to inquire about the visa that allows me to enter the US to attend the 1-2 days events on campus for every months.
( I’m not the resident and citizen in the US)
I have asked the admissions teams and they told me that they are unable to assist student with visa, including F-1 and J-1.
Therefore, I have been thinking ways below to solve the visa issue, please give me advice if you know any other possible solutions.
(1) ask the “homeland security” to ensure if I can use ESTA to enter the US without any visa for really short time.
(2) ask my company to assist me with the J-1 or L1 visa.
(My company has the US office, so it’s possible. However, I want to keep work in my country while having the visa in US.)
(3) give up the admitted school

well you need to define reason of purpose for visit , you should reach out to admission team at the college you intent to visit they should be of assistance..

I think you cannot get student(f1) visa for part time. you need to come on work visa or any other kind of visa which allows you to legally stay here and then enroll into part time and do you part time program.
