Hi guys how has been the F1 visa outcomes for T20 mba programs in India. I have my visa interview in 10 days. Feeling scared due to reddit posts.

Can anyone help me understand how are the outcomes in your respective school & network. Let’s talk & bring some transparency for ourselves

Hello anyone?

So many visa rejections - Ross, Yale, Columbia mba: 20-30% admits are getting f1 rejected.

Truly sad state of affairs. Getting mba admit is easy but f1 visa is way more difficult.

That's really alarming for applicants. Test scores, building strong work experience narrative, managing LOR, essay, application, depression until invited to interview, interview prep, rejections, admits, managing finances to get I-20, fighting for interview slots: This Odyssey now turned into a Herculean task indeed.

How do u get this number?

Last year around 50 could not get visa on Time for UNC according to poets and quants article

Basis what I can see. Like say there are 30 admits I can see 4-5 rejection already.

Like @sherluk got rejected for Ross.

There are so many who don’t disclose. I agree majority top mba like 70%+ get approved but still it is alarming to see 40% types rejection.

Hmmm..

But it is very weird. Top college people are getting rejected. Ross is such a great college. Is there a reason you think admits from top colleges get rejectd.

If you can share 1 or 2 key points

Like seeing Sherluk transcript I think he is not aware of American way of communication. Like if they ask how are you funding you just can’t say loan and savings they expect you be detailed. In American way of speaking you are expected to speak a little bit more, smile and have strong presence. They like people who are truthful and consistent.

There is also 1 thing I hate about people who get rejected. They put everything on VO that VO was randomly rejecting. They don’t introspect and put things randomly on reddit to make others panic.

Like if you are from top college and you got rejected - the issue is FOR SURE in you (communication or you couldn’t prove the intent). Like Sherluk transcript proved that people go without much preparation.

Visa is getting tough. Getting job is getting tough. Darwin theory will kick in. Only the most fittest with survive

For someone getting to mid level college - it may or may not. You can still say it was random. Like a lot depends on VO but if it is a top college and your visa got rejected - it is just YOU!! Period.

There have been an unusual amount of Ross rejections this yeah

Ross brand value is strong as ever
But I suspect, it might have to do with the number of international students they have in the program

Just a hunch
