if you one has not entered US, Sevis doesn’t activate, so it can’t be transferred. And thus new Sevis ID must be taken this is what i have learned so far after talking to a lot of people and agents and immigration specialist

the issue is - info isn’t available online. In a lot of cases students have travelled in past with old visa and new i-20, but geopolitical scenario has changed since.

Not saying I know better, but everyone has advised either to get a new visa or get yourself checked in to your current school and then ask them for a transfer. So i too need advice on the same
