I just wanted to know, if it makes any sense to the adcoms if i visited the campus after the submission of the application.
there would be no way to mention to them or mail them that i did. But would it be of any use now ?
vamkrispkA campus visit has no meaning IMO unless you have something to say to the admissions office about it, specifically how the visit or your interaction with staff and students during the visit reinforced your decision to apply to or attend a particular program.
That being said, there's nothing wrong with sending the adcom an email about your visit to the school after applying, since you did not manage to do so earlier but were very taken with the idea of seeing the campus up close. Even if the email does not directly affect the quality of the application, it shows that you are serious about the program, and honestly, schools are always happy to hear from prospective students about how much they enjoyed the campus tour or what they particularly liked.
