As of today, I'm fairly certain I'm not going to apply to an MBA.
I've spent this whole year (since February) preparing and studying for the GMAT (albeit I lost 2-3 months due to excessive work demands from late Jun-Aug.
My journey so far:
- Diagnostic
MGMAT CAT - 430
- (March to Aug) Went through
MGMAT book series + Economist GMAT course 70% Verbal and 80% Quant completed + OG17
--CATs
------Economist GMAT 1 - 460 (Q32/V23) -9th August
------GMAT Prep 1 - 500
------Economist GMAT 2 - 620 (Q41/V35) - 21st August
------Economist GMAT 3 - 380 (Q6/V38) - 28th August ---> no idea what happened on this test, I think i had taken prescription medication that affected me.
-----GMATPrep 2 - 600
I then sat the actual gmat, scoring 560 and shattered.
(Later in September till Now) I signed up with the EmpowerGMAT course + OG18 + Verb18 guides
- 61% overall course completion (score booster modules are all completed)
-note: I did not complete the CATs in the order mentioned and am only at my 3rd CAT
Post GMAT 1 CATs:
-------CAT1 GMATPrep 1 590
------CAT 2 GMATPrep 2 600 Nov,9 (Q44,V28)
------CAT 3 GMATPack 1 590 today (nov,24) (Q44, V27)
After CAT 2 I religiously revised my weaker areas in verbal and how I was making the errors, but didn't see any sign of improvement whatsoever. I thing i did do this time around was take my time with the first 10 questions..
I'm really stumped and appreciate any advice you guys may have.
EmpowerGMAT Is a great course, so clearly i'm doing something wrong / not doing something and I just can't pin-point it.
