Hello Sainath1996,
Let's look at what B-Schools look for and map it to your profile and then think of what else you could do.
1. Academic potential - Your CA background will help here. B-Schools want to make sure that the students have the aptitude to go through the academic rigor.
2. Clarity of goals - with a CA background and your current experience what can you do to get to the roles PE/VC. Research on what it takes to get into a PE firm. What are the challenges that an equity analyst face? What are the roles people get into post-MBA if it's a VC firm? What is career progression?
Once you have a clear understanding of what you want to get into, you can then equip yourself with the necessary skills.
3. Leadership skill - focus on taking initiatives at work. Take up more high visibility projects if possible. Take up additional responsibilities.
4. CSR is good and so is learning a new language ( this will help when you apply to European schools especially - I am assuming you are learning a European language
).
However, what is your takeaway - how have you contributed or what has been the impact is more important.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Shree
