There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
I live in NY and I travel a lot of work so I can only commit to a weekend program or a distance learning program. I know NYU has a weekend only program, but I can't find info on any others. I don't have enough work experience to get into an Executive program. I'm willing to fly or drive to make Friday and Weekend classes.
You should definitely look at online degree programs matching your educational and professional goals (you haven’t mentioned what they are). Please beware of scam schools; make sure that whichever college you pick has the necessary accreditations – you can check on the U.S. Department of Education database of Accredited Institutions and Programs- and is well rated and highly ranked. Off the top of my head I can think of one: Stevens-Henager College offers associate, bachelor and master’s degrees in Business, IT, Graphic Design, and Healthcare and is accredited by the ACCSC (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges).
I know both Kellogg and Booth have weekend programs if you're willing to fly to chicago. I believe they are the highest rated for PT. If you are looking to stay in NYC while studying, I think NYU is the only solid choice.
